I find money on the streets of New York City almost every day. Nearly every day!
Here I'll post where, when, and how much. When I hit $100,000 I'll stop blogging about it.
TOTAL found money since June 20, 2008 is $62.29.
Saturday = .01 found in the "Coqui!" melee on 3rd Avenue in Spanish Harlem Sunday/Flag Day = .04 found on the way to NJ Transit (bus, walk, subway, walk, train)
Today I saw a dime roll to a stop in the street not far from the curb where I was standing. I picked it up after it fell and it was still warm; it was fresh from someone's hand or pocket. I crossed the street and passed a bunch of school kids and I think I heard one say, "That's my dime." Not any more it's not.
